For some time now I have thought my digital presence has been a bit of a mess and in need of some TLC. This is particularly ironic given I am supposed to know about such stuff!

The problem I think is one of abundance! I have social profiles on every platform except Twitter. Then for good measure I have three websites and an eCommerce site. To add to the chaos I have multiple lines of business and too little profit!

So in brief; lots of activities, lots of domains, lots of social platforms and bugger all revenue to speak of (Not quite true, but I will leave that there!)

Today I took myself off to my favourite shared workspace MK:U and had a proper think. This will almost certainly not be perfect, but a step in the right direction this is what I have come up with:

This site (edstivala.co.uk) will be what I might pretentiously call my personal brand site – basically a blog and dumping ground for all my thoughts, ideas and rambles. Much will be written in Costa I suspect.

myRunningStuff.com will continue as is – which is an e-commerce site for running socks and Tailwind energy products. This makes a profit but is small scale business. So the site can stay as is but strategy is to grow the revenue, this year by 2x.

EdStivala.com used to be my fitness site but is now going to be for my Apps. This is another area I want to grow. It has huge potential. Work is needed on the site to make it fit for purpose.

Finally n3wmedia.com will get a bit of a make over and will be for all things consulting, workshops and speaking. In the short term the focus will be >_UnPrompted

I then need to straighten out all the links to these domains from the social profiles… but that all needs a bit more thought.

Maybe this site can be about accountability? After all even if I am talking to myself, it’s out there now. Maybe that’s what this site should be…
